This 10 year- 11 month old boy, was enrolled in a Mini-orofacial Myofunctional Therapy program created by Dr.\u00a0Honor Franklin<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0Honor Franklin Myofunctional & Speech Clinic<\/a>\u00a0consisting of ONLY TWO EXERCISES ONCE A DAY using the Zickefoose Lip Exerciser-ZLE and NO tongue therapy, NO swallowing therapy, NO busy work. His dentist had used a tongue reminder habit appliance which did not work because it’s purpose is to keep the tongue away from the teeth but doesn’t close the lips\u00a0or teach the tongue where it should rest or address any nasal airway concerns. After evaluations by an ENT and Allergist to ensure he is able to achieve a patent nasal airway on a consistent basis, he was enrolled in therapy . Look at the improvement in his dental occlusion after being seen for 17 visits over a 13 month period. It works!!! NOTE: Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy never takes the place of orthodontics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
